Have been going to this restaurant for over ten years now. It is always my choice for first meal of the week when working in Krefeld! Good selection of food both Greek and German with good portions! View all feedback.

My girlfriend and I are fond of Greek food so we decided to give Poseidon a try, as we were passing through this charming little town. The place is quite big and we got seated on the terrace, across a big fountain, that sadly was...not operational. This is something I’m not very fond of. You could see it was not working for some time as it was rather grimy. Either get it working or remove it. On to the meal! We opted for a platter with various Greek delicacies for two. The waiters are nice and quick to take your order. The platter arrived in short time and it was looking very presentable, but the quality was not living up to the looks. Almost all of the various dishes were drenched in a very sour vinegar mix, that made it seem very uniform. The platter is very big though. Main course I chose a Greek platter, and again, very large portion! The meat was fried just fine and the keftedes were very nicely seasoned. Fries were very basic. And I think that just what this whole experience seemed like, basic. Maybe we should’ve chosen differently, but we didn’t.
OK, the restaurant was busy and our large group were seated in the rearmost room, bare, lacking customers and sort of placed out of the way. and we waited waited, eventually we asked for the menu's and finally ordered. The meals started to...arrive at and that was the theme of the entire evening. I have read a lot of comments about this place but was prepared to judge for myself, alas the comments are all true and I (we) will not be returning. This restaurant cannot provide the evening experience that I would like.
A very good traditional greek restaurant in Germany. Delicious dishes. Also the dessert was hand made and very delicious.
One of the many Greek restaurants in Krefeld. It offers the usual inexpensive Greek fare: lots of specialties and the typical range of grilled meats (juicy and tender). At lunchtime the service is friendly and fast. Beware: In March they had an outdated menu...on their website.
The location is dry and attracts especially young people, as you can smoke nicely in the so-called garden. because the garden is a closed space, but it is already annoying by plasik windows. Unfortunately, despite good meat quality eating was made sweet and not well seasoned. with a little know-how, this is not a hot work! the cutlery is not homogeneous and the glasses to the wein are turbid and dishwasher damaged, so for a restaurant completely unacceptable! great is also the service that is more concerned with taking care of the personal look, rather than paying attention to the fact that everything is ok in the gast. but my highlight was the chewing gum chewing service power during the payment process... Conclusion: who likes this.
