Kann man... read more Wir waren mit 8 Personen am Freitagabend hier essen. Wartezeit für Getränke und Speisen war vollkommen in Ordnung. Essen hat uns Allen gut geschmeckt. Kann man empfehlen. Es wäre für die Gastronomie besser, wenn wieder mehr Personal zur Verfügung stehen würde. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

Leider werden nicht immer griechische Fritten, also frittierte Kartoffelscheiben serviert, sondern auch normale Fritten mit Frittensalz wie in einem Imbiss. Das tut der Qualität natürlich keinem Abbruch. Die Darreichungsform und auch die Anrichtung der Gerichte ist ansprechend. Leider katapultiert einen die Einrichtung und das Ambiente in die Zeit des Wirtschaftswunders. Teppichboden, Eiche rustikal und und Möbel aus längst vergangenen Zeiten sorgen für eine piefige Atmosphäre. Auch die Bedienung ist nicht state of the art . Ich würde sie nicht als unfreundlich, aber auch nicht als freundlich bezeichnen. Alles in allem kann man bei Frankenstein lecker und gut essen. Die Preise sind Durchschnitt. Das Ambiente, falls man das so nennen darf, entspricht eher dem eines in die Jahre gekommenen Wirtshauses aus den 1960ern. Mit wenigen Mitteln könnte man hier viel bewirken. Wohlfühlfaktor ist woanders.

We arrived at Haus Falkenstein as they were almost finished for the evening but the staff made us very welcome and quickly laid a table for us. Beers arrived very quickly and we ordered our meals mostly all different but even that was no problem at Haus Falkenstein. We chatted and were soon eating nicely presented meals. Ok the restaurant was emptying and losing it's atmosphere but to us we were more than happy with the situation. Well done Haus Falkenstein we will return.
