We had delicious steaks and salads, our waiter was super kind and he speaks very well English. We got the food quite quickly. Only one negative thing: the guests right next to our table were continuosly smoking, it was disgusting. Smoking should be banned from the restaurants completely!!! The plate for two was freaking amazing! Ribs are falling apart upon a slight touch, only signaling the tastiest bite you'll about to enjoy. Absolute recommendation!
Best dinner spot in Slovenia. Ended up here multiple nights!
The steaks were excellent. Very crowded (a table should be reserved in advance). The staff was very formal without an element of friendliness. Very hard to find parking near the restaurant.
The meat platter for 2 is amazing. Loved everything except for the wings maybe. Nice service and good atmosphere.
For our first time in Slovenia, we honestly didn 't know what to expect in terms of food. We were pleasantly surprised to find amazing bruschetta and even more surprised to find ribs that taste and feel exactly like what you would find in the US. Not to be outdone, the steak was delicious as well. According to our waitress, the chef never spent any time in the US, but the quality of this typical American cuisine says otherwise; perhaps he watched a lot of Food Network. This Slovenian-American fusion restaurant is definitely a hidden gem around Lake Bled.
