Lajkonik - Krakow

This restaurant is a typical chain cafe, but it is probably the best one out there! They offer delicious coffee with plant milks available for an extra charge, as well as some vegetarian options. However, it is unlikely that you will find anything vegan on the menu. Despite this, I still highly recommend it!

I visited a non-vegan coffee shop that offered some vegan options and hot beverages. The shop opened at 6:30 am, which was perfect for me as I was looking for a place to enjoy a vegan meal. (Review updated on June 21, 2023)

We visited Lajkonik at Kalwaryjska street on sunday morning. I tried tortilla wrap with seitan it was warm but not very fresh. They prepared it probably the previous day. Oat milk cappuccino tasted ok, but microfoam definitely wasn’t microfoam. Maybe the barista couldn’t use the plant based milk or the machine. They also offered lots of sandwiches (they looked very fresh and delicious) but the vegan ones were unfortunately sold out. The toilet wasn’t tidy.

Asked for vegan options. They said there is nothing available.

Nondescript café that has a couple of vegan sandwiches available. Dependable.
