The service here was great! Our waiter, folk, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. He recommended the Papaya salad, the Tom Yum soup and the pineapple sash of fried rice. The place was clean and the food was delicious. Great scream back to our amazing waiter! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thara Seafood Krabi:
Terrible service, terrible portion size and expensive. There was about 3 tables of people and our table, the place can hold about a hundred people so it's big and what I'm getting at is they shouldn't have struggled with service when it's nearly empty. I had to get up and find my own cutlery when the table behind me had there cutlery and food before us even though they came after us! The restaurant looks ok from the... View all feedback.
Local restaurant near the main pier, very comfortable and lively location. We came during speaking so that the face of the crowd dints. Eating was okay, nothing spectacular. Seafood quality is decent and fresh. The price is on a middle level, not cheap not expensive. Slightly disappointed by the portions, although they came smaller than expected. The staff was good, efficient.
The food was good. The place was a bit warm on a hot sunny day. The room is generally clean and spacious. Food is little pricier. We were served a dish we didn't order, but they took it back.
During the long weekend this restaurant is insanely packed and expected to delay your order. Eating tastes ok, but pricy compare with serving. A small tourist place, not as local as you might think.
Recommended by a Tuk Tuk driver to taste lunch in Krua Thara. The food is average and it lacks authentic Thai taste. Price ranges from 150Baht to 200Baht, not really cheap.
We followed a recommendation from YouTube and ended up at Krua Thara for a late lunch. Service was lovely, the owner came out to chat with us and made us feel welcomed. The food was outstanding, we had the steamed mussels, softshell crab laab, soto with Thai curry, spicy glass noodle seafood salad and tiger prawns. Spicy, well balanced and very fresh seafood for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend visiting if you come to Nopporat Pier, can't wait to go back!
