La Maison - Kotagiri

Visited for lunch in April 2017. The cook made us really nice roast chicken with grilled vegetables. The ambience is perfect overlooking a valley. Friendly service, a couple of nice dogs running around and some farm animals gives it a nice atmosphere. Good for families and for children.

I went here 2 weeks before for me i t was not too nice ....I think its jus OK for the trips with friends but not good for a family ....its costly too ...and is nt tasty for the rates...

The host is friendly and charming going to lengths to make guests feel at home. His staff is friendly and courteous; they keep the place very well maintained. The food is not run-of-the-mill and totally enjoyable.The place has a magnificent view and boasts some beautiful flora and fauna.

Where do I start. A beautiful, serene and old scotish bungalow on the hills owned by a lovely French guy. Has about 4 rooms to offer alongwith meals to order and his company. Plan for the following :-(a) Place the order in advance by calling the owner on phone, if just going for a meal.(b) Carry a bottle of wine as you would fall in love with the surrounding and would like to sip a glass of wine.(c) Carry few games or board games.(d) Dont forget the camera you will find every corner of the property worth a click. (Max the lab, ducks & other animals will keep you busy.(e) Ahh yes carry a book too ;)GO there and spend atleast the complete day.
