We won a voucher from the spa administration for a three-course meal with an aperitif for two. We were really looking forward to the evening. When we presented... read more We won a voucher from the spa administration for a three-course meal with an aperitif for two. We were really looking forward to the evening. When we presented the voucher, the menu was suddenly changed. We were given a separate menu. The starter was now mushrooms with dip. Cold canned mushrooms were served. Yuck. The main course was roast pork, which was tough, with potatoes from a jar. I 've never seen anything like it. At neighboring tables, they were apparently being served something decent. Our question is, if a restaurant offers something like this, shouldn 't it be promoting itself, not serving up such awful food? We skipped dessert, by the way. Our advice: either do it properly or not at all. This restaurant is definitely dead to us.

But the food itsel... read more We ate at the Oberdeck restaurant for three days as part of our half-board package. The service was good, and the food arrived quite quickly. But the food itself... well, let's just say it wasn't great. You can't really go wrong with herring and fried potatoes, but the other days were practically abysmal, so much so that we had to go into town hungry after our meals to buy something to eat. As a vegetarian, I was allowed to order à la carte. Considering the price and the amount of food, I have to assume that the average person would go broke rather than full. We are more than disappointed and will avoid this establishment in the future. Overpriced food that doesn't taste good and leaves you hungry – no thanks. Next time, we'll skip the half-board and find something decent in town right away!

The Oberdeck restaurant has been a culinary highlight for years when we're in Koserow. But this time we were totally disappointed. What happened? We wanted to sit outside in the perfect weather, but the tables weren't set. The staff were sitting at one of the tables smoking. The menu, which used to offer truly unusual and sophisticated dishes, was short and boring. And so was the food. Unloved and bland. The food arrived without cutlery and had to be refilled. The Worcestershire sauce didn't arrive at all and had to be fetched by a completely ignorant server. No questions were asked if the food was okay or if we needed anything else. We are truly very disappointed and probably won't be going there again anytime soon. WHAT A BAD PITY!
