My husband and I decided to have a spontaneous date night at Sugarbob’s, and I must say, it has become our go-to spot. We began with the Hee-Haw Craw Chaw, which was absolutely unforgettable! For our main courses, I ordered The Joey, while my husband chose the Pulled Pork PO-Boy. We decided to share, and I’m so glad we did! The homemade bread for the Po-Boy was simply incredible! The pork was fresh, and the sauce was absolutely finger-licking good. As for The Joey—wow! It had fresh beef, a toasted homemade bun, and the CRAWFISH CHEESE was extraordinary! Each bite was bursting with flavor, creating a delightful culinary experience. For dessert, we shared the pecan pie and the Chocolate Lasagna. The pecan pie was served warm with a dollop of homemade whipped cream, and the chocolate lasagna was so rich and decadent it left me speechless! We also took home a couple of bottles of their homemade jarred hot sauce. If you’re in search of fresh, farm-to-table food, this place is a hidden gem! You won’t be disappointed!
Fantastic food and outstanding service! I usually order the Shrimp Boil with potatoes and veggies, but tonight I tried the steak along with homemade fries. These aren’t your typical fast-food fries; they’re cut fresh and cooked perfectly! Absolutely delicious!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was extremely disappointed. While the service was excellent, the food was surprisingly bad. The burgers were decent, but the fries were burnt, the baked potato had a soapy taste, and the shrimp was dreadful! I won't be returning.
