What NatalieR doesn't like about Boathouse And Dining:
The Boathouse didn't live up to my expectations at all. The inside is like being in an RSL instead of an expensive waterside restaurant. The daggy old carpet, bad seats and no ambience was disappointing. The food tries hard to be good modern Australian and sounds good on the menu but fails on the execution. Amazing night, perfect food and if I could go back and do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t thank David who looked after us enough. He was very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about local produce and personable. Highly recommend.
What more would one wish for on an Autumn Central Coast day? A catchup with 2 ex colleagues at the Boathouse at Koolewong was fantastic. The venue provides views across Brisbane water, great service,delectable food drinks. I highly recommend this venue,especially for a meal with interstate local friends. We'll be back!!
We loved everything about this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and the view was lovely. Quality all round and highly recommend.
