Restaurant Bar ExxTRA - Konstanz

We visited this place during our Lake Constance Cycle Tour. it doesn't look very nice, but it was the first we found where we could get our bikes close to us, and it turned out that it was an excellent choice! waitresses were really helpful, as we don't speak German, they explained the menu in English and gave us some recommendations. I don't remember the names of what we ate: but it was brilliant, and we had a whirlpool to the dessert I loved. a few days later I tried apfelstrudel at another place and it wasn't even half as good. it was the best to eat throughout our 300 km long journey:

Simple but nice economy in the heart of constancy. a bit hidden, unobstructed atmosphere. Food is freshly prepared. the service was a bit slow and cumbersome.

We go back to the exxtra because you can eat and drink there with good music. it is also one of the not so many restaurants/bars in constanz with a smoker area.As well as the solid food there is also a changing map with small but good selection of dresses from vegetarian to meaty.Auch in the evening you can have a nice drink without having to eat something and without a critical view of the waitresses;)

I stumbled over this place when I walked through the streets of Constance, and I am glad that we did this! we have tried beetle and apfelstrudel. really delicious and inexpensive. they also had a huge selection of board games for anyone who wanted to. the kind of place where they can relax all day, drink coffee, chat with friends and play. loved it!
