Biergarten Hafenhalle - Konstanz

As previously mentioned its one of our regular restaurants in KN we either go by ourselves or even taking friends there. The last two occasions we always got the food served before the drinks which is really annoying. Last week we went with friends from...Canada and ordered two bottles of wine... when the food came I pointed out to one of the male servers that we would prefer to have the wine together with our food ... his snobby answer: you haven't finished yet ! Wow ! Later this week my wife and I went again and same story, food was served before drinks. Lately it feels everyone is stressed and only if the owner helps serving drinks it gets a bit better. Please hire more or better staff at the bar. We will give it a break for a couple of weeks and see if service improves again when high season is over

Only the location is above average. As it is at the harbor, you can watch the boats and the many people walking on the promenade. The food was very average. I chose the badische wurst salad as I was not interested in anything heavy. It...had more vegetables than others but nothing special. Companions chose typical German fare and all were satisfied

After shopping we strolled to the harbor and found the Hafen Halle. We had diner because we were early we could have a table although all tables were reserved. Waiters were kind and the food was nice

Recently visited this restaurant with my family including two children... As soon as we arrived, no one came to our table to serve us. Someone walked past and threw some menus on our table. One waitress walked past and I asked her if she spoke...English. She said yes but would send over her colleague. We then waited mins and no one came over to us. The staff were extremely rude and racist with no intention to serve us. Even when we got up to leave still unserved no one came over and we were totally ignored... Very disappointed that this kind of treatment of paying customers still happens

Food was good, traditional dishes better than the 'normal' dishes. Service was good with smiling staff. Based near the harbour you can sit and people watch
