Gyldenløve - Kongsberg

The room was ok, standard as expected. The staff was friendly but did lack some understanding of good customer service. Questions were answered by short answers and straight faces without a smile. The hotel is marked as “dog friendly”, but we were told to take the back door because some guests didn’t like dogs. Never experienced this before, and we’ve had dogs at many hotels. Made us feel like second rate guests. Breakfast opened at 8 am. This is at least one hour too late when you want to hit the road early.

Close to train station, very nice and comfortable. I recommend breakfasts. Just take your own soap etc., their smell terribly.

I recently stayed at Best Western Plus Hotell in Kongsberg and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and offers easy access to local attractions. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept soundly throughout the night. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. The hotel's breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, and pastries. I particularly enjoyed the delicious Norwegian smoked salmon and eggs. Overall, I highly recommend Best Western Plus Hotell in Kongsberg for anyone visiting the area. The hotel offers great value for money, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations.

I am very satisfied. Staff is great very friendly and helpful. The room was very good, big, comfortable. The bed was very comfortable too. Breakfasts were very good but the same every day, however it is not a surprise: I would like to have a little bit better coffee:
