Let’s say, I have mixed feelings. I cannot complain about the food quality. It was ok, not much selection but was ok. On the other hand the service was bad. I admit that the place was full, But we had to wait 50 minutes sitting at a table to get a menu and a glass of water. When we tried to interact the waitress they said one minute, that took 20 minutes more to get a menu. So sad. View all feedback.
Was on a work trip in Kongsberg, got hungry in the evening so decided to go down in the lobby to see what they could offer. Menu was Ok so I choose the beef carpachio for starter and the moose with vegetables for main course . The starter was Ok , but little bit to much oil on it so it took away little of the meat taste. Main course was excellent and vegetables and meet was perfectly made. I had a beer and two glases of vine to the meal also. Price, maybe little bit high but it ended on €90 for two course dinner with one beer and two glasses of red vine.
We ate at the restauant two nights during our stay. Food good, good size meals, served quickly, able to split bill one night when we dined with a group of friends
The food was way too salty, and the shrimps were very overcooked, to the point where they were hard to chew and had a strong fishy taste. The service was not good, and it took a very long time for the food arrived. On the bright side, the scallops and the prawns were cooked nicely. The atmosphere was nice, but I would not eat here again.
The restaurant is lovely, cozy. There were many waiters on duty but they didn’t really pay attention... The food was good but a bit too pricy for an average meal.
Located on the first floor of the Quality Grand Hotel, it's good place to have some beers before heading to the hotel room. It's usually not crowded, nice and quiet.
