The staff are great, however, training is required to manage busy times. Food was brought to the table without cutlery, which had to be asked for. Then one set short was supplied and again a guest had to leave the table to get them. Will happily go back, hoping it was a once of situation of inadequate service Food: 5 View all feedback.

Food drinks: Well I don't leave bad reviews unless there was really something wrong. We did not stay at the lodge so I have no reference for that however we did eat at the restaurant. We've been eating out in Jabula and in the last nine years since we first came to Marloth Park. Since we arrived in January 2021 we have been fed there every Friday and Saturday evening. We love the Cheers-like atmosphere in the bar, the extraordinary service and the fabulous and consistent food. We never had a bad meal. But if something had failed, a friendly request for an alternative would always be cured with goodness, grace and an acceptable solution. We have been world travelers for 10 years and have never found a restaurant that offers us a better experience. My husband's favorites are the ribs (and portion size), framed spinach and onion rings. I love everything I've ever tried on the menu, but usually order the hake and tasty pages. The prices are very favorable for the quality, the portions and the consistency of the food, combined with a fantastic night out!!!

Always had brilliant food and service here. Dawn and Leon greet everyone as they come through the door. Even during power outages food and service is on point.
