great coffee. delicious mandel croissants. However, the cook should use the right croissant recipe. tried like a soft roll and not a croissant. but the filling was delicious. the image shows them the croissant recipe needs work. View all feedback.
What Koshkha dislikes about Java Lounge:
We were over-heating on a hot Sunday afternoon and had just been round the Dutch Hospital so we popped in to take advantage of the sofas and the air con. The iced coffees were good but at pretty much European level pricing which seemed rather over the top. You can get a three course meal in many local places for the cost of one of their fancier iced coffees. Clean, comfortable and good service. But you pay for it. View all feedback.

It is a good atmosphere coffee shop. there are many comfortable sofa. it opens from 6:30 o'clock.
After a quick tour through the Dutch Hospital I had coffee with my wife in this place,Delecioua coffee, more comfortable place, friendly staff. highly recommended
The best coffee I had in Sri Lanka so far! I like to drink Americano and in general they use to be very bitter and sour! This one was perfect and the staff was super friendly! The price is a little bit higher, but if you like a very good coffee in the morning absolutely worth it!

The restaurant was average in terms of price, slightly more expensive than other places. However, I was not disappointed as the food was very tasty. The ambiance was not as good as their other locations, but overall it was a pleasant dining experience.
The Americano restaurant was underwhelming, with a 45-minute wait for a wrap and burger. The food is decent if you're looking for a quick bite upon arrival at the hotel. It might be wise to place your order before checking in, so you can take a shower and have your meal ready when you return.
I completely disagree with other reviewers who claim the wait is long and the restaurant is crowded, and that the coffee and food are just average. During our stay at the Fairview Colombo hotel for a week, I frequented the Java Lounge located downstairs for my morning coffee and cheesecake. I can confidently say that the espresso is both delicious and strong, and the food is also excellent. The cafe never seemed overcrowded, and the staff never appeared overwhelmed. A major highlight is that the prices are exactly as listed on the menu, with no additional taxes or mandatory tips. Additionally, the wait staff always provides the exact change down to the last rupee. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment!
Staff here were very friendly. It does get busy so sometimes you have to wait a little. The coffee is good and my wife said her cake was excellent.
Ordered prawns pasta, lasagne and a salad for food and a ice blended mocha and OJ for drinks and this is the order in which the food and drinks arrived. First we get the mocha blended coffee, then after we get the salad. Once the salad is over we get the OJ. Then comes the lasagne after some time. But they missed out on the prawns pasta and when inquired only it was made. When asked did u miss to make as certainly mixing pasta with prawns does not take longer than baking a lasagne, and the reply was a typical we did not forget give 2 more Ns. So 2 of us were eating and drinking and different times. We might as well come separately. This is basics of food service to give food and drinks together when people dine together but definitely this place doesn’t understand that basic. Bad choice for the amount paid. Pilawoos next door would have brought our food together at a fraction of the price paid.

Java Lounge is a must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts. The cozy atmosphere is inviting and charming. I was pleasantly surprised by the cappuccino with chocolate flavor, even though I am not a fan of chocolate. It was truly impressive! Whether you go with friends or alone, it is the perfect place to relax with a good book or your smartphone.
Two days before I had Coffee its feel Starbucks coffee visit and feel the different I hope to visit my niece nephews
Nice place to enjoy with a lovely coffe and a snack. Good staff. Located near dutch hospital, next to fairway colombo. Would recommend to anyone who wants to ease the nerves after a busy evening.
