Granted it was Valentine's Day, but even with a reservation we waited 40 minutes to get seated. Initially service was slow but improved as the meal went on.

Granted it was Valentine's Day, but even with a reservation we waited 40 minutes to get seated. Initially service was slow but improved as the meal went on.

We were seated at a bar seating table, although we had an advance 5 pm reservation and arrived 30 minutes early, with only 2 other patrons in the restaurant seated at the bar. We received very limited service from the bartender/waiter, although initially greeted with 2 glasses of champagne which we enjoyed. The bar became very busy, noisy and disruptive, and was not a comfortable atmosphere. (We were also celebrating our 25th anniversary noted on the reservation). We were not offered a rose given out to dining guests for Valentines Day until asking for one upon leaving. The meal was very good, but the experience was very disappointing.

We had a great time on a Saturday evening; after a short wait in the bar we got a nice stall. davis was our server-very droll sense of humor-great service! our party of 4 enjoyed the petit filet, 2 ny strip steaks and the surf/turf together with framed spinat and mais. everything was fantastic!
