This man knows what he's doing. Brisket and links were fantastic. Sauces were complicated and the vibe added. Great potato salad too! Get here while it's open, every good smokehouse sold! View all feedback.
After living in a Muslim country for the last two years, I have eaten pigs; particularly good grilled ribs. This surely satisfied that desire. They were tender, smoky and had a wonderfully sweet and tasty sauce. I begin to believe that the Hawaiian Islands could be the underground kings of American style BBQ, and D Greens BBQ does his part to anoint Kaua’i as king of kings.
The man with the pretty eyes (who served my food) was the most friendly person I've met in Hawaii so far. I've been here a week. That alone was enough for a 5 star review. BUT... when I tasted the brisket and discovered that it was THE BEST brisket I've had (even better than Austin TX) it made my day. He threw in a rib because I wasn't sure which to choose AND added a few burnt ends... my favorite!
Craving for a great BBQ? Enjoy brisket, pulled pig, chicken here with Coleslaw, Mac, fine sauce here, also on Sundays. Great place, try it!

Chef Daren gave me a generous sample of his awesome brisket then I went back for more! My husband was pleased he offered ribs they are fall off the bone A mazing. His signature sweet, smoky sauce is barely needed deliciously made with, of course perfect for here, pineapple juice! Just go get yourself some of it before he sells out! Look for his food truck only in Koloa Town, Kauai!
