Being a sweet lover, this is a paradise for me...Reminded me of the sweets of BhimNag...<br/ Especially the Raj Bhog...It was the best I have consumed after I had one in Burdwan, probably bhogoban sweets.<br/ #Fantabulous
This is one of the oldest sweet shops in Salt Lake . The shop is a small one has remained the same since my childhood days. Sweets are of good quality while the price is on the higher side . The behaviour of the staffs of is a point of concern for this shop . Their attitude is like take it or leave it , we don't care . This kind of attitude needs much improvement .
I can say that on my list Kolkata has some of the most renowned sweet shop like Tewari Sweets etc and now this one.<br/ <br/ Just like I visit evertime to Tewari Sweets whenever I come here in Kolkata. This too is one such place which I visit everytime.<br/ <br/ The shop is though small in size, keeps small stock but has some ecstatic quality sweets like Misty Dahi. I visit there only for one type os Sandesh which i don't even know the name, i just show them I pic of it and they give it. I have also uploaded a pic of it check it and grab it.
This place is nostalgia for me bringing back memories of high school, friends and sweet treats. I'm a devout admirer of their Mihidana and Sheetabhog. I frequent here less nowadays but most definitely it's a local favourite. <br/ <br/ P.S.: I had met Upal of Chandrabindoo here once. If you're lucky, you may meet him too. He lives in AE Block, nearby. :P
