This place is a heritage for me because since last 10 years whenever I am in New Market, I have always preferred this place. Yes we've always known Street food isn't exactly hygienic but then who can resist a plate of Magical soft, fluffy bhatura with spicy chole? Trust me it's absolutely fine to try their food once in a while if you are in a mood to save money on food and spend on clothes while shopping in new marke... View all feedback.
A little roadside joint beside citi mart. Very popular among office goers. Had masala dosa and chole bhature. The dosa was tasty but the chutney and sambar was watery. The chole bhature was really good. The bhature was soft and the chole was super tasty. Can be visited for quick snacks.
I think I have been a permanent customer to this eatery since I was a kid. My parents would take me to shopping and we’d eat our lunch here. I can never forget how delicious and fluffy those nans are. <br/ <br/ The chana masala is extremely well made, spicy and the dhaniya chutni is equally good. You can ask for more portions of chutney and chole, but extra nan would cost more. <br/ <br/ Over the years prices have increased but the taste has not changed one bit. You’d have to stand and eat while the service guy is very fast and efficient. Its the perfect street food if you want to satisfy hunger cravings within 100 bucks.
If you are not a hygiene freak then you must try the choley bhature from this place. The bhaturas are so fluffy with the spicy choley and the green chutney...its just yum. Also the lassi and the juices are good too. After a long day of shopping in new market this place is pure bliss and also light on the pocket.
Another legendary joint. not highly rated for great food, but the situation and the fact that it has been since old. directly in the esplanade new rich corner. famous for fast chola bhatura and juices along with some other snacks.
Always makes me nostalgic every time I take this punjabi exit is only at the corner of the new market and new rich. the only place in colkata I die to visit only to have the chana and kucha. since my childhood with my mother I visited this edible. they have a small sitting area inside and a few stools in front of the shop.
