A few weeks ago, I visited this place with my friend. We really loved this place, their ambience, their staff was too good. We really loved her hospital. From their amazing Bengali menu we tried Gondhoraj lebu sarbhat, which was amazingly refreshing, Mocha Shami kebab and I must say that everyone who is in love with this dish is always the best combination and we finished our meal with Chutney. Every article was too good and I loved her very much. This place definitely serves one of the best Bengali cuisines in the city.

Few days ago I visited this outlet with my friends.Kolkata’s one of the best Bengali restaurant serves you a great deal of food items to binge on, and make your day, a fantastic one. Kopai is easy to locate as it is situated, just opposite to the Sarat Bose Post Office in Southern Avenue. The restaurant is well decorated with quotes and pictures of Rabindranath Tagore. You can feel the vibes of Santiniketan. We tried various delicious items- Doi gondhoraj lebur sorbot, Mochar shammi kebab, karaisutir pulao, kochupata vapa chingri, mangser kassa and mixed chutney. All of the above items were delicious. I personally like their Doi gondhoraj lebur sorbot and mochar shammi kebab. I loved every bite of mochar shammi kebab with a sip of doi gondhoraj lebur sorbot.

Recently I went there out with my family for a lunch and the place was really has a beautiful decor which includes some banner with quotes/songs written by Rabindranath Tagore and it's quite spacious too. We ordered for Gandharaj lebu sarbot which was super refreshing and beside this we ordered for Mocha Shammi Kabab, Basanti Pulao, Kochupata bhapa chingri, vetki paturi, mangsho kosha and mixed chutney. The staffs were really courteous and the quality and quantity of the food was just perfect. Overall it's a really good restaurant to visit if you wanna try out some Bengali food.
Kopai... No, this is not the river of Bolpur Shantiniketan. This is a compete Bengali cuisine restaurant in Southern Avenue, Kolkata. The interior is based on Rabindranath Tagore. In the decor, the 'ektara ' and the instrumental Tagore songs are made the ambience more beautiful. I visited with my family and had... Bhaat, Daal, Machh, Mangsho and many more. But I personally loved the CHINGRI preparation most. Overall the experience was too good. Want to visit again. loved the place. Go and have your own experience!!
