I really enjoyed my lunch here. The food, the ambience, the personal behavior was almost perfect. It is a nice cozy place, they have maintained the vintage style of the interiors and the food they serve is also very well presented. You can book here via phone table. If you are looking for a home style Bengali thali and have time for a relaxed lunch or dinner, this is the perfect place for you.

Kewpie came to my surprise when I visited this little cozy restaurant 2 years ago in an old Bunglow in Off Elgin Road, Kolkata. It is Lane opposite Forum Mall and Lane next to Shri.Subhash Chandra Bose bunglow, now a museum. This was my second visit during Durga puja. offcourse that was a privilege. At Kewpie you will find everything fresh and easy from the kitchen. You can order thal together with other dishes on the menu. A must try is mutton kosha, loochi, motor he dhokla, daab he chingri, chaal he paayesh. and the list goes on... it is only yummm... making aura and ambience They just fall for the place! Bringing a few pictures... hopefully it makes you restless

Best known for authentic Bengali cuisine served in traditional style. Ambience takes us 100 years back to give extraordinary feel which adds more taste to the food. Economically priced and courteous staff's.

This is the only place I regretted eating at in Kolkata. Extremely late service, very average but overpriced food. And I really didn’t like the fact that the manager made very tall claims about celebrities eating there including (if you believe it, Bill Clinton) but they have no pictures to show it. I don’t think this of fake PR is really necessary. Just work on your service instead.

The food is aweful, very shabbily kept place, the toilet is super filthy. We ordered mohabhoj thali 1200/ , the quality of food was unimaginable… the fish was burnt, no mutton.. only bones, my daughter wanted to order doi potol… it was two fried parwal in a bowl of uncooked curd.. don’t know what was going on. Guests were pretty upset with the food and services… wouldn’t recommend anyone to even go and try once. Please avoid this place.
