Contribute Feedback What Prabha Garg likes about Hong Kong Chinese:
Food quality, ambience, service and overall authenticity have remained the same since its foundation in the 1970s. The standard is really great and you must try chili chicken dry, garlic prawn, chicken with vegetables, noodles, fried rice, chicken asparagus soup, tomato soup. And of course some ice cream for dessert. It is pocket-friendly and recommended for every occasion. View all feedback.
What Anshula Nazareth doesn't like about Hong Kong Chinese:
It's a simple and cozy and kinda old Chinese restaurant near Kankurgachi. Prices are a bit high. Staffs are decent. Taste of the food is well enough. For a bit change you can try their, Cantonese noodles. This one is mandatory for my every visit. View all feedback.
The oldest and tastiest Chinese food is here. It might be the oldest but it's served the most tasted food and fresh food too. It's a bit costly but trusts me you will gonna love
Good quantity and quality of food with delicious food taste. Had an amazing experience here. Will definitely recommended to others.
Best Chinese restaurant in north kolkata. Great food as per quality &quantity. A bit overpriced. Quite place to enjoy the sumptuous food. Must try dry chilli chicken fish finger chilli mushroom.
EXCELLENT FOOD, EXCELLENT STAFF, A BACK DATED MANAGER RUINING FUTURE OF THE RESTO! Hongkong is a very old Chinese resto in Kankurgachi. Taste is best in the world, yes I am sincerely writing this , best Chinese you can ever have. Special Noodles or any gravy noodles is must must have, Fried rice is excellent, Dry chilly chicken or pork is super. Gravy items also very tasty. Only problem is this restaurant has a very old Manager who feels Zomato Swiggy or any online purchase is bad. Only people should come and eat or takeaway. Doesnt have the knowledge how many people wont be able to come and eat here due to distance or work, even if they are interested and now a days 100 other restaurant options are open online which u can order from home in few seconds. When this restaurant was built there was no other options, but now they are many but only the old manager doesnt understand the difference and he is living in old 90s and losing customer everyday. Owner is very nice and real Chinese but she wont be able to come and given all responsibility to this manager who is ruining the restaurant's better business every day. If you find time to go there and eat or takeaway no taste is better than it. but can you make it even if u like from Thakurpukur to Kankurgachi? Grow up old man.
Everything is great but the prices are sky rocketing. Too much expensive. 380rs for a chow mein /fried rice was unexpected
