A good restaurant in the locality. A perfect place for a quick a bite. Recently ordered a plate of Chicken Bharta. It was really nice and up to the mark. The authorities were also good and well behaved. Overall had a wonderful experience. I would recommend everyone to visit this place once and put this place in your bucket-list if are visiting this place and if you are a foodie like me! Happy eating!!! View all feedback.
Coming to North Indian food serving eaterys near around Sector 3, there 's a hardly a few good places to indulge upon to satiate our cravings for Mughal cuisine! Located near AMRI hospital, one such joint has sprung up adjacent to Subway named The Calcutta Biryani which specialises in Biryani, Kebabs, Rolls more! With indoor outdoor seating options, TCB offers a wide variety of options of both veg non-veg items on their menu! Their Biryani is light on the tummy, aromatic flavourful the variant, we tried, The Chicken Tikka Biryani came with two pieces of Chicken Tikka on top of the Biryani along with the iconic must have 'Aloo ' or 'Potato '! We even tried the Veg variant as well which came with Paneer. The kebabs were of great quality, the meat pieces were juicy succulent had a distinct texture. The kebabs were served with salad green chutney alongside. The Egg items on their menu are the ones you need to watch out especially, The Baked Egg, Tandoori Egg, Devil 's Eye, Super Fluffy Egg Scrambled Egg with Bread. With on point presentation a decent taste, the Rolls especially the Chicken Paneer Tikka Rolls were the ones I 'd surely suggest. Chicken Bharta Mutton Kassa accompanied with Tawa Parantha were the ones which opted for the mains! The sides were delicious tasted awesome with the bread which was tossed in butter. Overall, a great place for a quick snack over good food. Service is good followed with proper hygiene adds brownie points to this place therefore grabs my recommendation!

Nice experience. Both food, Biryani and kekabs in particlar was great and so was the service. They have some quick and delicious breakfast bites like differnt varieties of maggie, rolls and exotic eggs items. The calcutta Biryani has added icecreams and hot beverages like masala tea and coffee too. In short, The Calcutta Biryani rocks ! Just one thing, they should focus more on marketing.
Biryani, the name is enough to bring water in mouth. Till date I haven't met anyone who said I hate Biryani. So here's another new Biryani outlet. The Calcutta Biryani is located just beside AMRI Hospital in Sec 3. Calcutta Biryani is all about perfect blend of spices in Biryani with soft boiled potato and tendered meat. Let's see how close they're to it. But first let's start with some North Indian delights. Chicken Tengri Kebab Rs.269 (4/5) : Beautifully served perfectly grilled chicken legs tasted really good. Chicken Tikka Kebab Rs.229 (3/5) : Again nicely served spicy Chicken Tikka Kebab pieces tasted average. Kadhai Chicken Rs.169 (4/5) : 4 medium sized chicken pieces were nicely blend into the whole dish. Gravy was absolutely non oily with perfect mix of spices and its thick consistency felt just great with Parathas. It was little bit sweet in nature and that gave this dish a twist. I just loved this preparation. Mutton Kassa Rs.189 (4/5) : Just like Kadhai Chicken, this dish was also excellent. 2 medium Mutton pieces cooked in rich, thick and perfect blend of gravy tasted really nice. Perfect combination with Lacchas. Chicken Tadka (3/5) : Now who eats Tadka with Paratha, yeah I tried and found it not bad. It was pretty standard Dal Tadka with big chicken chunks and its thickness didn't made it boring. Chicken Biryani Rs.199 (3/5) Chicken Tikka Biryani Rs.209 (3/5) Mutton Biryani Rs.219 (3/5) Boneless Mutton Biryani Rs.239 (3/5) : Finally the Biryani, I had lot of expectations from here but got bit disappointed. I tried their different varieties of Biryani where they serve it with different kinds of meat with same biryani rice. Meat pieces were good on every other Biryani plate with no compromises done so far but Biryani Rice felt little too dry for me. If you've tried the Biryani of Royal Indian Hotel before then you will find their Biryani very similar. Mainly use of whole Garam Masala Spices in quantity creates this similar kind of taste and flavour. On the plus point they give you the option to fully customise the Biryani from adding Aloo, Paneer or Boneless Mutton with the Rice. Some people may like it and make a jumbo Biryani as per their preferences.
