Food was great specially the Egg Kejriwal was amazing. Staff is also good. But the backdrop is the ambience. The cafe was not so clean. And it doesnt look like what is shown in picture. And street dog comes to the cafe. So this is not a good thing. All other thigs were great expect the Ambience . View all feedback.
The famous Germany Bakery of Pune fame is finally in Mumbai. Located near Reclamation, Bandra, this place is renowned for its bakery products such as pavs and their desserts too. We got an opportunity to try out their new breakfast menu and the experience was quite wholesome. Taking you through everything we had from their menu: Cottage Cheese Bhurji with Pav Scrambled paneer which was quite savoury but the main attraction was their soft pavs making the combination even more delicious. We did ask them if they sold it seperately and they do. It's directly brought from Pune. Special German Bakery Chicken Club Sandwich (Highly Recommended) A triple decker sandwich with the goodness of sliced chicken, lettuce and served with fries. It was really yummy and quite appetizing as well at the same time. Cheese Omelette Served with toast, grilled tomatoes and baked potato, this cheesy omelette was light, tender and fluffy. We ordered Brownie Frappe which was quite fulfilling and also heavy. The Cold Coffee was also a wonderful indulgence and quite refreshing! Overall, we had a fantastic time at German Bakery and look forward to visit again. The ambience is quite wonderful and it's located in a soothing area right next to Candies Cafe. We were quite full to try some of their dessert specialties but will make it a point to come here just for that again!
We ordered 1. Hot chocolate Oh, the most delicious hot chocolate! Just like the one I had in Pune! Priced for 120, serving in such a good quantity : ' The chef was so sweet that he followed my special request to not make it too sweet just tad bit lumpy which could be avoided. 2. Jalapeno cheese poppers Oozy liquid cheese coming out of these delicious bites, the only issue was there was no taste of Jalapeno in it : 3. Kashmiri kawa chai The cookie served along with the kawa was cute! Loved the presentation the way it was served in a little cloth bag
It's an incredibly beautiful cafe, with the most comfortable and warm ambience. The lane where the bakery is located is quite quaint in itself. We called for 1. Chicken Mushroom Crostini : It was beyond exceptional, would highly highly recommend it. 2. Chicken Lasagna : Quite yum and filling There's a wide range of bakery items to choose from. Go make your pick :
A nice out of routine place to enjoy a long list of delicacies. The food is really tasty specially the Chicken Lasagne. We tried Chicken Lasagne, Chicken Peri Peri, Humus Pita, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Barbeque Chicken Burger and all were awesome.
An absolute delight for people who adores a good breakfast spread or amazing continental food. Been here yesterday for lunch as I wanted to try this place out since quiet a long time now as I had heard many good things about their pune outlet. German bakery is a small little place in the bylanes of bandra reclamation. Having it cosy and relaxing atmosphere throughout the place. They do have couple of tables outdoors which is also pretty attractive. Honestly it's an ideal place to chill and experience their amazing f&b spread. To start off , we had their very berry strawberry milkshake and frozen hot chocolate in drinks. Both were exceptionally good and had perfect consistency and both the shakes were topped with slightly sweetened whipped cream which went really well. In appetizers we had peri peri chicken fingers which were my favorite as they were spicy and it was made just perfectly. The dip alongside was superb too! Also tried their German bakery club sandwich which was a 3 layered sandwich having egg, bacon and chicken inside with lil bit of coleslaw in it. It was on a heavier side and would suffice two average eaters. It was served with salted fries and some dressing. Moving towards mains , we gave a try to roasted chicken lasagna which was decent and had arraibata sauce served in the base. It was well baked and had proper amount of cheese to it. The other main we tried here was Stroganoff with herbed rice which was my personal favourite in main course offerings as it was light on to your stomach and had incredibly good flavor to it. The mushroom sauce cooked along with the cubes of chicken breast was super creamy and went just perfectly with that herbed rice and sauteed veggies alongside. Chef Ameya had done incredible job in making the dishes we had here yesterday and we would definitely appreciate the efforts. RM Mayur ensured best hospitality is been delivered and kept check on us after every dish we had. German bakery is truly an amazing place when it comes to good food and good hospitality. The staff here is polite and pretty much helpful. Would definitely visit this place again to try their pizzas and pastas.
