Destination 72 marks the beginning of a spacious restaurant in the lanes of Powai. Situated close to L&T, this restaurant is soon to become a corporate hub for parties and networking. Destination 72 looks somber light and is all-day-dining. It's ideal for lunch in the afternoon, and by evening it turns into a party hall. The food menu is unique, with tasty dishes to order. We went for a Sunday brunch, which had a good spread of salads, live counters, starters, drinks, and main course. Friendly staff, value for money options makes it a great place to visit.

We were at the restaurant to party and being a group of 10 people we selected this restaurant since it was near to my college. Coming to the order we ordered a lot of dishes including veg, non-veg, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The review will cover vegetarian dishes and non-alcoholic drinks. So the drinks we ordered were Virgin Mojito, Virgin Colada, and Chocolate Hazelnut shake. The virgin mojito tastes amazing with the mint leaves, soda and chilled with ice. The same was the case with Virgin colada and the combination of pineapple juice and coconut milk tasted superb when served chilled. The chocolate hazelnut shake as the name suggests had a strong aroma and flavor of chocolate and was served with chocolate shavings on top. The milk was nice and thick and the taste was absolutely amazing. The Paneer Zaffrani Tikka was excellent served with yellow mustard sauce. There were cubes of paneer with a slice of tomato or capsicum in between each paneer. The masala gave an amazing taste to the paneer and the barbecue cooking was done to [erfection. You could feel a smokey taste and the dish was slightly on the spicier side. The cashew and chili paste that was used to cook the paneer gave at an amazingly different flavor. All in all the starter was very good. The next dish was Mexican baked nachos. Served with nicely baked nachos there was a generous topping of freshly cut tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, etc. The nachos were nice and crispy and the cheese layering made it taste even better. They were served with a top garnishing of sour cream and a leaf of coriander. The next was Bruschetta (although it had a long name on the menu). There was a topping of melted cheese, fresh corn, chopped tomatoes and onions, sour cream, etc. The bread was crispy and the taste was good. Finally, the desserts were the highlight of the dinner. The walnut sizzling brownie was the usual one but the brownie was bigger and far better than I have had somewhere else. The Rabadi with Kesar boondi was served a deep dish plate with the rabdi being nice sweet and made of creamy thick milk with a center of orange sweet boondi. Lastly, the chocolate fondue was served in a big bowl containing a mix of white and dark chocolate syrups where you had to dip the freshly cut fruits which contained pineapple, pears, and apples. All in all, the food was amazing, the ambiance was awesome and the staff is friendly and professional. An amazing experience.

Overall very good food at this new joint in Powai. Service and staff Trainings can be improved upon. I ask about a dish the staff says deep-fried, I say the menu mentions shallow fried , he says yes it’s shallow, I ask him if he is sure, he says yes. We order , the dish comes deep fried , I tell the waiter , he says Maine toh aapko pehle hi bola tha.No effort on service recovery, this is very poor.
