Mermaid Guest House - Koh Rong

I tried the amok at this restaurant and it was delicious! There are not many vegan options available.

We dined at this restaurant twice and found the prices to be very affordable. We paid $3.5 for an amok curry and $2 for a salad, both of which came with a generous amount of rice. The portions were large enough to share between two people. On our first visit, we accidentally ordered two mains and a salad, which resulted in three servings of rice. The smoothies were delicious and reasonably priced compared to other options on the island. The family that runs the guest house and the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is located a few meters away from the main beach area, which meant that there were plenty of free tables available. We were lucky to have a prime seat right by the water, with a stunning view.
