Koh Kood Ngamkho Resort - Koh Kut

We were looking for tofu on this island but it was sooo hard to get one. Here you have a vegetarian section in the menue with various dishes. We enjoyed the green curry. So good!

Nice Restaurant on the Beach. Lots of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

22 Jan 2023- I drove my scooter down here after catching a beautiful sunset at Koh Kood Resort's Deck Bar. There were no customers at Ngamko Resort. They don't have a separate vegetarian menu. They could make vegetable versions of a couple of dishes, but they didn't have tofu. They pointed me to some soft egg thing in a tube, in the fridge. Anyway I decided not to eat here because it didn't seem like it was a popular kitchen. .... By the way, I'm staying at Eve house and they have tofu. Previous reviews saying Ngamko is the only place on the island with tofu are incorrect (now). Updated from previous review on 2023-01-22

Seems to be the only place on the island where you can get tofu! Curries and the tofu with cashewnuts were both very deliscious

They actually serve tofu which is great, but both the dishes I tried were incredibly oily. The staff are rather unfriendly too and you feel like you're bothering them when you try to get their attention for extra rice for example. The portion sizes are very good though.
