This is a cosy little pub hidden away in the town of Konigswinter. After having a trek up and down Drachenfels it was time for me to look for a place for a beer, and since I didn't have a huge about of time I...decided to look for the best looking place – and this happened to be it. Basically it is an old style German pub with a small beer garden down the side, though for some reason sitting outside on the road also has its merits unlike Australia, where roadside seating is pretty dull. I would also call it an old mans pub, namely because you walk in here and all the old men of the town seem to be crowded around the bar. Also, one should not that things are done a lot slower out here so don't except your beer to be poured the instant you order it and they also like to let it set as well. It's a lovely little place, and certainly a nice place to grab a beer after a long hike

Great little pub for a few beers on a Friday evening : We found a nice snug corner and enjoyed our time in here. They played great music too
