Our server was a casually dressed friendly guy, who was apologetic when my...first choice, the variety of fish dish, was out. My spouse ordered from the Tagesmenu, the vegetarian choice of polenta, salad, and a berry compote for dessert (9.50 Euros), a Koelsch beer (1.70 Euros). He thot the beer was good, the dessert tasty and not too sweet and the polenta was interesting, but good. I had a hot chocolate that was good sized and with steamed milk (2.50 Euros), the veggie burger, which was a little crispy on the edges but overall good, with fries (8.50Euros). Our friend ordered a coke (2.40 Euros), and a Stadtgarten salad (9.50 Euros), which was huge with bread on the side as well. She thot it was good, and could have taken half of it home for another meal. The ambiance isn't much, but the noise level is fine for conversation, and it was popular and filled.
