I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. First, the staff was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. We were asked to order a full meal each... read more I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. First, the staff was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. We were asked to order a full meal each to be allowed to sit down. This compulsion is not only immoral, but also a form of hidden coercion. But what was most disturbing was the numerous pictures of figures associated with the oppressive Pahlavi regime that covered the walls of the restaurant. Seeing the faces of people associated with SAVAK and the crimes of that period is a reminder of pain, censorship, and oppression for many of us Iranians. Being in such an atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and insulting for me. We left quickly and will never return. I do not recommend it.
