As the last remaining place in cologne for tantuni , I headed out there in high hopes. Alas, I was disappointed. The meat was not lamb, tasted like nothing honestly. I would suggest that they really improve their tantuni rolls if they have it in the name of their place. A start would be to use fresh lamb instead of mince chicken(? View all feedback.
I had the number 51 chicken salad. Very nicely grilled chicken, fresh greens and a nice dressing. Staff and atmosphere is very Turkish in the best way. Enjoyable and relaxing. I will be back to try the lamb.
My co-worker brought me here and it's been my favourite little place since. It's a hidden gem. Order the Tantuni Somun sandwich and you'll want to come back for more. It's spicy marinated veal, fried in a special pan, and served on a long bread roll with fresh herbs.
