Fresh ingredients, yummy food, highly recommend! Not suitable for big groups due to limited space and on Fridays and weekend it would be a wise idea to make a reservation.

After living two years in Cologne and after all our visits during our holidays, Akira is certainly one of the best sushi restaurants we have been to. The menu is very varied, the drinks are also very good and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. The owners take great pride in their food and service and the quality is always consistent, no matter how many times you visit. I advise booking beforehand, as they seem to have very loyal customers, many tourists visiting and the restaurant is small. You will notice that there are always Japanese customers and that guarantees the quality and authenticity of their food. Cannot wait to go back!
