Whatever your mood, this is a very comfortable place with nice music to let yourself be inspired by incredible drinks. The design is a mix of 30s and 50s. Each item inside has a story. They even use an antique shaker made out of silver. You can order main stream cocktails that are not on the menu because they are main stream, or be inspired by very interesting flavours created by the owner as described in the cocktail menu. The owner, Damir, has been working in this profession for more than 20 years and you can feel his enthusiam and eye for the detail. Both the owner and his bar tender are very attentive, kind and patient. We had a chance to speak to them 2 days ago as we came early and the place was not full yet. I felt great sitting at the bar, but would also happily try the cozy looking back room. They do not have a blender, in other words, they do not do 'crushed ice' daiquiris or margaritas or pina coladas, but you can easily find dozens of interesting other cocktails, shaken or stirred. This small bar can easily compete with my all time favourite super duper Rosebud and for me is much more cozy than Shepard's. And compared to the other two bars, I would happily come here even alone and sit at the bar. Try the pecan butter bourbon, which is home made.

Cocktails are around the €10 mark, which is fair for this calibre of bar and the ingredients used.Now I have to say one of our drinks was far from perfect. I love sazeracs that much I went to New Orleans to see how the "masters" make them. I make at least one a week myself.Annoyingly, I have sent quite a few back over the years.It's how the complaint is dealt with that matters a lot. I had a complaint and not only did the owner make me a different drink (I didn't want to risk having the same), he then came and chatted and seemed genuinly interested in the problem. He then made me another at no charge.After these he fetched out a few other spirits that I had no knowledge of and asked our opinions on the tastes.A lovely chap. I hope the business goes from strength to strength as he had real passion for it.Incidentally, all the other 4 cocktails were perfect from the off. I unfortunately can't remember the name of one of them, but it had Mozart chocolate spirit as an ingredient. Gorgeous.
