it's a great place for a lunch a dinner. they can taste local dishes in a cozy atmosphere. we really enjoy beeping and it is original taste. fried kartoffels were perfectly diced and egg on the top was made nicly (as always...potetos could be roasted a bit more.) apfelstrudel was nice, but the omlette with apfelsauce and rustines was really delicious. service was nice, though pretty slow. What Nicole Salazar doesn't like about Gasthof Krone:
Seat and ordered, after getting our meal still not bread. Two other tables come after us and after ordered before their meal get bread and butter. I asked the waiter 5 times to get bread and I had almost finished my meal she arrives with...3 tiny slices of bread when the other tables got nice basket with bread and butter. We don’t speak german so I could get a proper explication for the different treatment. View all feedback.
Bedienung sehr nett, Ambiente schön rustikal, Bier gut, essen unterdurchschnittlich (Spanferkel sehr sehr trocken, zu viel Kümmel)
Wer ein Lachen sucht der findet es. Dazu noch schöne Gaststuben. Wascauf den Teller kommt ist hervorragend. Einfach empfehlenswert!
Mittagstopp im Gasthof Krone war ein Gaumenschmaus. Das Ambiente in der Gaststube und der persönliche Service durch die Gastwirtin Katrin ein Glücksgriff. Wir hatten einen herrlich gegrillten Fisch und einen auch für Auge toll angemachtes Tartar. Alles sehr frisch und professionell zubereitet. Ein wirkliche Empfehlung.
We were lucky to read the reviews about needing a reservation so we made one ahead for our dinner,and good that we did as the place was packed. Even though all tables were taken we had excellent service, the food was unbelievable garlic cream...soup, grilled trout and weiner schnitzel) everything fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately we couldn't fit any desert in, but certainly will do on our next visit. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
We visit Austria some paintings in the year. this is one of the best restaurants we found. really thoughtful and careful traditional cuisine with good ingredients in a beautiful historical building. can recommend everything we tried over two nights: goulash, bark strips, chicken...in pumpkin seeds, cordon bleu ...
