Zafran - Koebenhavn

I am an Iranian person and the best Iranian restaurant which we can recommend in Copenhagen is Zafran, it is just because of the taste of kebab we have tried different type of kebabs here) is really good, well marinated and very tender kebab with high quality. I cannot believe negative comments about this restaurant as we always prefer to go there.

Amazing Persian food , it’s underrated, the owner I guess told us it will be the best Persian food you’ll even eat , I didn’t believe but when I tasted it was really the best Persian food , the meat is AMAZINGchicken was salty and bit but good I finished it all , service was so kind and amazing , but the atmosphere was a bit to dark they should put lights ,shabzi was good , they also stand with women life freedom movement , best meat I’ve ever eat !you should definitely try it

Lamb shank only tasted of cinnamon?! If they had added some pepper and salt it would have been of some worth! Beef kebab were ok, but its q stable food and no biggy to make, however was served with zafran rice and 1 grilled tomato?! So dry and not even pickles or some other garnish served with? I'm never had so bad food for +400 kr as dinner in Copenhagen before. Similar dish served in Nørrebro for half its price and with some salad at least! Lav standard når det ikke smager af noget som helst, især når vi bad dem om at lave det stærkere, hold da op, en dovent køkken!

I highly recommend trying this place as the food is quite good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect in my opinion and very suitable for romantic dining as well.

My. wife and I love the flavours of middle eastern food, and this restaurant did not disappoint. My lamb fillet and minced lamb were delicious, nicely served with rice, grilled tomato and flatbread. My wife had the saffron chicken, also delicious. Service pleasant and quick. Add to this that you can bring wine with no corkage and it makes a very good deal indeed. No hesitation to recommend, especially if you like this type of flavour and we will return if in Copenhagen Eddie n Christine
