What User doesn't like about Tandoori Masala:
Today 4 of us had dinner. Food was so so but had the worst service ever. Around 21:00 We were middle of eating the waitress came and said can I take the plates we are closed at 21:30 at the end she kicked us out 10 minutes earlier than the closing time. Very disappointing behaviour not going back there again. View all feedback.
Recently we visited this Indian restaurent in Copenhagen during our Scandinavia Tour with Veena World Tours. This restaurent has wide seating arrangements and serves Indian muglai and non muglai cuisines. We had ordered a wide range of dishes comprising of mix vegetable, malai paneer, Dal Tadka, fried papads, steamed rice, Chicken masala, salad, nans, cucumber raita and followed by Rice Khir. To start with all the dishes were really delicious, mouth watering, paneer masala for its awsome taste , dal tadka for its unique taste with garlic-red pepper (lal mirch) garnered oil tadka, paneer was soft and tender soaked in tasty cream based curry, very juicy delicious chicken cooked to fineness soaked in Indian masala, tender soft- hot tandoori nans unbelievably soft silky fluffy texture tempting to over eat. Rice was steaming hot with rich basmati flavour, raita was was prepared with freshly prepared Indian yoghurt rather to be called ' dahi ' beaten to softness for a uniform paste with crispy strands of green cucumber, To end with rice khir was typical Gurudwara style rice cooked in milk and thickened to exact consistency which was not too liquid and not too thick but just mouth licking khir with sugar enough to enjoy to relish the sweetness. The milk was thickened over seam fire to get the desired original gurudwara taste. This was established reportedly some 20 years ago by the Sr. Sardarji and Sardarni from Punjab. Now their son and daughter help s assistants catering to the guests. All are known for their king like hospitality and caring attitude with true love for the guests to know their likings. We wish them a roaring business and fame all over the world for their unique taste in remote corner of the world with genuine Indian taste.
Had a very tasty meal. Not too spicy at my request. Staff friendly helpful. Service good.
You're in Copenhagen, you can't miss it. I have to reserve because the place is small. You eat very well....the children have a plate for them. You'll be thrilled.
A very common experience. I found the food to be a Bland imitation, but not unpleasant. We were asked how hot we wanted to eat, but the spicing was hardly noticeable. The decor was very simple to recommend it was an Indian restaurant. The service was acceptable. The worst of its kind, but the overall standard of Indian restaurants in Copenhagen is low with some remarkable exceptions. The food was relatively cheap, but the prices of some of the drinks are pricy.
Fancied an Indian meal while away and Tandoori Massalla was around the corner from our hotel. We were surprised that it wasn't busy. We ordered starters from Onion Baji's Chicken Pakora. Bajies we are okay, but pakoras were dry and not good. Main course I ordered chickensizzler June prawn sizzler Strange Mine came on a bed cabbage was very dry as Junis. With a rice strange garlic naan I can only say very poorly. With 2 pints by Kingfisher, this unholy feast costs £82 well overpriced for our experience not impressed at all. will never go back
