I have often eaten both takeout and in the restaurant. I love the daal and the court with the aubergine. really cozy in the restaurant to eat, but remember to book a table in advance (smaller and popular place) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kates Joint:
I had high expectations with this restaurant, but unfortunately it was not to them. I can only recommend the starter court (divided on photos). I tried to order kombucha, cocos water or limonade, but ended with drinking water, as they had none of the other drinks. the main dish - I have a dish with sweet potato and bud - was a bit sharp but uninteresting. if they decide to give this place, an attempt could be a good... Kate’s joint was actually one of my first vegan food experience (together with the now closed the grønne kælder next to falafel in durum. I was there in 2006 with some competitors in anima, then I was a fan, and I am still a fan of kates joint. they offer various dishes of vegan cuisine, which are characterized. I think I tried all the dishes, I love them all, but malay style veg curry with tofu are my favorite. there are two disadvantages in my expedition. they have no vegan desserts with which I can live. but the biggest part is their bad seat. they have no regular chairs, but offers them chair. I think that's quite unpleasant. they can sit on a bank to the wall. but my final judgment is a great recommendation for kate’s joint, which is one of the best non-vegan restaurants in kopenhagen. updated by previous review on 2022-01-16

Not a veg restaurant but some very nice vegan options
Kate's Joint is a modern contemporary Indian restaurant. It's located on a nice and cozy street only a couple minutes away from Copenhagen center. Has a vegetarian menu although vegan food was not marked. Our waiter didn't know what was vegan but he asked the chef and it turned out two dishes were vegan. I had the Satay (vegetables and tofu with peanut sauce) and it was good but a bit bland and could have used more sauce. The food was not what I would call traditional Indian food which in one way is kind of interesting but at the same time a bit tasteless and boring. Overall a nice, cozy place with good, but not amazing food.
Comfort eating, large portions, very full! the vegan option is always great.
