Hungry Dane - Koebenhavn

I miss her burger and can't believe I never left a review while I lived in Denmark! my vater nationally competes in bbq and hamburger.

Not an ordinary burger, on good wise was today the only customer, beautiful. I ordered a gourmet beer menu, bark was sold out so I did.

Thanks peter for a great burger and service. had the shredded bark three cheese and it was one if the best I had in Europe.

The Hungry Dane has recently been object to quite some media attention for two main reasons: they won an award for best burger in Denmark it came to the press' attention that they have been involved in planning the competition themselves, raising doubts about the legitimacy of their title. I have tried the Hungry Dane in Nørregade in Copenhagen. The burger and the fries which I had at the Hungry Dane in Copenhagen are sadly the worst I ever had, and I left the place with the feeling to have fallen into a tourist trap. The location super central by the main shopping street of a European capital combined with the screaming sign BEST BURGER IN DENMARK should have warned me, but I was naif. I would recommend everyone to check out the reviews on the Danish website Trustpilot, where you will read what locals actually think and the owner hasn't yet asked each single negative reviewer to remove their thoughts as he is doing here on Google Maps. If you want to claim to be the best in Denmark, live up to it or accept the criticism.

I got the burger with triple cheese. if they happen to travel between the new york city and bali, this is by far the best burger they find on their way. many thanks for a beautiful meal in a perfect environment!
