Having eaten at a few restaurants in Copenhagen this one rated in the middle. The mains were expensive for the quality and given this is a meat based restaurant they could have done better. Otherwise it was nice enough to experience the Meatpacking district on a summers night and the restaurant is well on theme. Nice to experience once.
I had the set lunch menu comprising 5 small (ish) open sandwiches for lunch: 2 mackerel, 1 fried fish fillet, a chicken salad and a fried pork dish with Lingon berries (something I had not had for many years). All were excellent, with the cold sandwiches prepared at the bar so I could see them being made. For me the chicken was the star of the show with a delicious mayonnaise and some pickled mushrooms. The fish fillet was so big, the bread was nowhere to be seen. Well presented and good sauces to accompany the dishes. The meal with 2 beers came to a little over DK500 so not cheap but then, this is Copenhagen and nothing is cheap! Good service and one waiter in training, who performed very well and very attentive.
Friendly welcome, the staff is pleasant and smiling. Good discovery of the smørrebrøds in a good atmosphere! That's very good! I recommend.
Perfect experience in all ways. Food, service and ambiance were everything in the top.
Had a fantastic meal here as a random walk in for 5. Set menu gave us charcuterie, exceptional bread, 3 starters, onglet and sides with a delicious sauce for main and creme brulee to finish. The beer and wine was good and the service was really friendly. It was mid range price wise This is a great place to eat delicious, safe classic food.
