We had lunch here today. I had the smoked salmon with radishes, cream cheese, and wasabi. It was very good without the wasabi being overly spicy. My husband had the fish special which was hake with parsnips and cauliflower. It was a very delicate white that was surprisingly tasty. The server was extremely attentive. The only downside was the portion size. It was quite small, but then again, we Americans have been spo... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fishmarket:
I went for lunch. I chose to have the set lunch menu. Two courses, starter and main, for 355 Danish Krone about €49. There is no choice for either course. (If you go à la carte, it’s even more expensive) Starter and main were impeccably prepared and served with Michelin style ceremony. Portions were small tiny, in the case of my starter. I left feeling not full. This is expensive, small portion dining at any time. Fo... View all feedback.
Great restaurant, best creme brulee. You feel comfortable here
Fishmarket is the place for exquisite seafood, young, beautiful and attentive service and an unmatched location. Its name does not justify its quality.
Good service and food, the only caveat is that most of their product are sourced far away and probably defrosted.
Well without being pranging and slightly too expensive compared to the one you get. As the name says, there is a fish restaurant. The staff were nice and serviced. We took their 4 dishes menu. The food we were well prepared without being the great taste experience. Very mild taste, which does not scare anyone away. Basic a good experience that was destroyed at the moment I got the bill. Not because the total bill was too much, but because I hate paying for envelope bread and water ad libitum next to the wine. Especially the bread that you are not asked if you want, but it is put on the table, it gives the impression of a tourist trap. Why is it just that you take €45 extra to a bread basket? For a menu that already costs €10. For my sake they could take 695 kr. for the menu and it was for order. But there is something Easyjet or Ryan Air over a restaurant where you pay for water and bread to a menu. What is the next wardrobe and it should sit down? I don't want to visit such a restaurant again take the right price for the food instead!
Fish Hake was excellent. Just make sure if you order the fish of the day and if the same dish is repeated in the lunch 2 or 3 course menu that it is a larger piece of fish.
