What User doesn't like about Famo:
we had hoped that this would be a special meal, but we found eating very subduing. it should be rustic, but it was really very common and blande some of it was more like underseasoned student canteen food (the lamb,...the pasta with muscheln.) there were some good elements (the steaktar, the brot.) it was also very expensive, the service was bad. everything in a very disappointing evening. Friendly premises, friendly staff, professional and prepared. We spent a pleasant evening enjoying excellent food accompanied by good wine. Honest price. Lively recommended.
Really good food and cozy atmosphere. We were looking for a small restaurant where the acoustics were good so you can talk together. We are happy that we found FAMO Saxo who has existed for many years. They only make a fixed menu, which is liberating. It is nice that you can order a menu, where the details are nicknamed. All dishes were very delicious and tasty. The wine card was great, so we got good guidance of the waiter. We will certainly come again

Great little and cozy place on Vesterbro. Good food and the sweetest staff with top quality. There are not many places like this in Copenhagen. Authentic vibe and the delicious dishes. I can only recommend you to get off and visit Famo Saxo.
A visit that came a little in last minute, and started sprout with a dedicated waiter and delicious starters. Homemade pasta and authentic and homelike feeling. Minus here is, however, that we were forgotten by our servant for a good time, which meant that we waited for 1 hour (if not more) on the next main dish. It was cold outside, and we would really like to return. But on a Friday night where the restaurant was well filled, it is a mistake that can be done for everyone. Our second main dish is served and this right did not live up to expectations. Served with potatoes and buttered mushrooms. It looked like most of all cocooked loaves thrown on a plate with a few sliced potatoes. The mushrooms were sour and wet and everything in all just an unapproperable dish without special taste. We mentioned this for the servant, after which he insured us about it was fresh produce, and would compensate with a greater dessert. The Dessert was a single woodberry ice ball, served with just legal many chocolate buttons. The ice had a great texture, but the taste was extremely mild and the buttons were stone hard. Would maybe come again. But when we went home from there, it was difficult not to be a little disappointed in the evening's course
