Had a mate in just to enjoy life for an evening. Got a pleasant welcome from a phenomenal host and some absolutely outstanding cocktails. Can be highly recommended.

Attached to the famous D’angleterre 5* Hotel Balthazar is an exclusive fine Champagne Bar, which has a business casual dress code unless you are staying in the hotel and offers a very good vibrant atmosphere on entry. It is definitely a middle to upper class kind of party bar and the bill on your bank statement can hit stop loss here if you are on a budget but there is a very happy energy in the room. The decor is nice and lighting is excellent and there is touches of class all over, for example, there is a big oracle like book downstairs explaining the origins of Champagne. Which probably gets missed by 90% of customers because everyone is in their own world. Customer service is reserved as you would expect in such a place they are very ready to help and very attentive to filling empty water glasses and refilling peanut bowls. Price is definitely very above reasonable levels like I previously stated but all in all the price is worth the good vibes comfy chairs and live DJ. We went to visit Balthazar on a Saturday evening just for perspective. If you like to dress up and like an exclusive-ish night out and are ready to sit down and spend lots of money on either champagne, cocktails or wine, this is the correct Bar for you to visit inside Copenhagen centrum.

I had the pleasure of visiting Balthazar bar, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I had. The main hosts, Remi and Alba, are truly the sweetest and most professional individuals you could hope to meet in a cocktail bar. I’m not easily impressed, especially when it comes to classic boozy cocktails. However, the drinks at Balthazar bar were nothing short of outstanding. Remi’s knowledge and skill in mixology are truly impressive, so is Alba’s ability to recognize and understand what you need. The ambience of Balthazar bar is unique. It strikes the perfect balance between cozy and chic, exuding an elegant charm that’s hard to come by. I didn’t have the chance to try the food, but I noticed a nearby table indulging in what appeared to be culinary masterpieces. It turns out the food is served by the Marchall next door, and it’s at the highest level of excellence. In summary, my experience at Balthazar bar was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of Remi and Alba’s exceptional hospitality, the outstanding cocktails, and the alluring ambience make it a must-visit establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend Balthazar bar to anyone looking for a memorable evening out, and I can say with certainty that I’ll be back for more. Cheers to Balthazar bar!
