This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the Cooenhagen area, I even had a 14 people private dining room here for my 40th birthday. The staff is friendly, welcoming and nice and the food is beyond excellent, served at a good pace. The wine is excellent and combined it makes up a fantastic experience that I have now had more than five times. 10/10 will go again. Love this place. View all feedback.
What Chelsea Hartman doesn't like about Alouette:
Booked this restaurant for a Michelin star experience while in the city to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service itself was amazing but the food was overpriced for what you got. The first few dishes from the tasting menu were fantastic with lots of flavor and interesting pairings of textures but the last four or five dishes weren’t impressive. It’s disappointing for the price you’re paying for this experienc... View all feedback.
Sublime experience beyond the ordinary. Especially the dish with pumpkin and caviar was good, probably the best dish I've had in a long time! Service was top notch and very professional. There was one dish that didn't really work for either my girlfriend or I and which gets 4 stars, and it was the dessert with a cake-like thing at the bottom that was a little fermented or similar. in the taste. Otherwise everything was 5 stars!
That was really good! Very impressed with the vegetarian dishes. Go peas!! The pancake with the seaweed marmalade! Also (non-vegetarian) the langoustine… and the pork. Thank you!
Easily the best meal I've ever had
One of the most extraordinary restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food is delicious inventive yet approachable. As visitors from abroad, it was really meaningful that each dish highlighted the most special seasonal ingredients from Denmark. Some of the standouts from our meal included a white asparagus custard crowned with luminous caviar, a dessert composed of vibrant strawberries prepared three separate ways, and a langoustine tail lightly kissed by the grill that was accompanied by one of the most hauntingly delicious sauces I have ever tasted. We tried both the wine and non alcoholic pairings which were fabulous. Yet somehow more outstanding than the food and drink was the service. Professional, warm, detail oriented, and never ever fussy. Each person we interacted was incredibly knowledgeable about the farmers they work with, the techniques used in each dish, and even the ceramics (which are beautiful, by the way). It is truly above and beyond. At the end of the night, over cocktails in their lounge (which, it should go without saying, were also fantastic and highlighted great Danish ingredients and producers), our party was already plotting our next visit. It was an evening we won’t ever forget. Thank you to the whole team.
From picking up on the street near the restaurant (it is a little hard to find) by having their name to the coffee at the end it is immaculate! the amusse were great and only a dish was absolutely the heavens to eat! also the weeping was great! great staff that really enjoys working at the site! they even had the original history of the espressos I usually miss!
