Ban Thai - Ko Samui

This family-owned restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food is freshly made and delicious. The family is incredibly welcoming and happy to accommodate any request. Along with our meal, we were each given a complimentary bottle of water, a plate of pineapple, and a bag of pastries. All of this only cost me 100 THB, which I found to be extremely generous considering the level of service. They even offered us a reasonably priced driving service to the port the following morning. I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant serves authentic soul food. The woman in charge cooks all the dishes right in front of you, and she is absolutely stunning. I sampled dishes like pad thai, noodle soup, curry, and other unique dishes that didn't even have names. I visited for lunch every day, and towards the end, she started improvising my meals because she knew I enjoyed everything she made.

This restaurant offers an incredible experience with authentic homemade Thai food served by amazing people. Mama even treated us to mango sticky rice and cashew chicken. I highly recommend visiting this place to support the locals. This restaurant truly is a hidden gem.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is very friendly and accommodating. They were able to create tasty vegetarian dishes for us. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was around ฿400-500. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
