very good breakfast place and bakery. I like that they even have a pool. when they prepare, they can even jump after the breakfast in the pool. the ice I had was great and the ice too. I'm back. View all feedback.
What Rob S doesn't like about Common Grounds Coffee:
I had a very expensive blended coffee that only tasted like water, no flavor at all. When I asked the older lady at the register to add some coffee or flavoring, she looked at me angrily, stated no else has complained, and told me I could not come back… Don’t worry.. won’t be a problem. A glass of water would’ve been more satisfying. View all feedback.
The owner is very nice and so friendly. the icy latte is okay, but we like it at another place. So, recommend to taste other dishes and enjoy the pool here.

Common Grounds Cafe is heaven. Really. You have nature being nurtured and respected, they even grow their own plants. The pool is covered with shadow almost all day. And then they have THE most delicious pastries on the island (sorry for those that don’t eat gluten, dairy sugar . And after if you actually want to eat …they cook better than any other restaurants I have been in Phangan (and I have done many top ones . It’s lunch, brunch, breakfast style. They don’t have pancakes
Really nice atmosphere,..accompanied with an excellent coffee(in my case cappuccino)..with a fresh baked cinnamon role..life is at hos best,..beside the really good breakfast the staff is also very friendly…i will come here every morning till they send me home…
