The Frog Wine Cellar - Ko Lanta

Just visited this restaurant for my wife's birthday, the location is great with a beautiful garden, the menu small but with interesting dishes, we had beef feta spring rolls to start, followed by a seafood papaya salad and the fillet steak with a bottle of wine, not cheap but the food was well presented and cooked perfectly. The issue was the service or lack of it, firstly the bottle of wine did not arrive as ordered, when it did arrive was served by a very bad mannered lady. Having enjoyed our food we had to wait 35 minutes before I finally had to ask one of the 5 staff that were sitting at the bar playing on their phones to please clear out plates and bring the bill, a birthday dessert would have been nice but none were offered. I feel for the hard working chef being let down by such incompetent and lazy waiting staff.

Very charming place, with live music being played. Additionally the ribs were the best I've ever had, and the dessert was great. Had a very pleasant experience!

Best food in Koh Lanta it tasted great. Beautiful place in the garden and nice and friendly staff. We will definitely come back.

My partner and I visited the frog in 2015 and spent hours outside to enjoy some of the best cocktails I had ever lived in my life. I'll be back soon!

This place looks a beautiful garden and has the best ripening! I got the chickenburger, and he burst with taste. I had to lick the garlic mayo from my fingers. 10/10 would recommend my chicken!
