Great food at fair prices. Service was friendly and got the food shortly after the order. The daily special Fried Noodles with chicken and spring rolls for 89 Baht was really delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Roithai Cooking Classes:
Very, very, very slow and feeling messy. We got here for breakfast and, while being the only ones sitting we had to wait almost an hour for a omelette. Eventually we had to cancel the order as it seemed like it was never gonna arrive. Food was ok but got to the table even a bit cold. On a positive note, staff was very friendly and nice. If niceness was food, this would be a great place. Even the bill had some mistake... View all feedback.
We had breakfast here and the food was good and tasty, the place is really nice as you sit on the second floor overlooking the surroundings, the staff were very friendly as most here on koh lanta!
If you’re looking for western food, this place will not disappoint you! But if you’re looking for Thai cuisine, there are better Thai restaurant you could try.
Fresh ; Authentic ; Local ingredients ; Healthy Every time we passed by, this restaurant seemed busy, so we decided to give it a try. I am very happy we did! We went ca 4 times and are looking forward to going again when we 're back on Koh Lanta! TASTY FOOD All of the dishes tasted amazing. I loved my Pad Thai with shrimp, fried morning glory was great. We also asked them for a couple of things that were not in the menu and they were able to do that. I was very happy to have ginger tea (fresh ginger+hot water and at breakfast time we enjoyed Thai omelets. AUTHENTIC INDEED We had a lovely chat with the owner and found out that actually, authentic Thai food is not supposed to have added sugar (but often elsewhere it does! . The sweetness in ROI THAI comes from fried onions, tomatoes and pineapples (and sometimes tamarind, I guess . Also, they have all necessary ingredients in the kitchen, so they can be flexible (inc adjusting spice levels as you wish . I was also very happy to hear that they source the food locally as much as possible. That would explain why it was sooo amazingly fresh and tasty. They also organize cooking classes. Didn 't make it to one this time, but they sounded great! FRIENDLY STAFF In addition to this, staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. To give you an example, we arrived on a hot morning and were discussing which table to sit on. My husband thought closer to the reiling would perhaps be good, more of a draft. The owner was right there and I loved how she said Don 't worry, we can make wind for you! and a few moments later we had a nice cooling fan. NICE INTERIOR Finally, I 'd like to give a big thumbs up for the interior. The whole place is made of wood and nicely elevated from the road. That means a more relaxed atmosphere and not inhaling exhaust fumes. : The view is quite nice too. I like that they have made use of driftwood to make a whole counter and some decorations. Biophilic! (Look up the word if you don 't know, it 's a good one . The only thing I would perhaps adjust was the music I 'm just not a very big fan of country music. IN CONCLUSION Go try, it 's worth it!
