Yassin's Falafel House N Peters Rd

I have ordered from Yassin's before, but it had been a while since my last visit. This was my first time trying this location and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had added a plant-based Shawarma sandwich to their menu. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did - it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was hearty, filling, and packed with flavor. In my opinion, it was much tastier and offered better value than the vegan shawarma I had previously tried at a downtown vegan restaurant.

We always choose this Mediterranean restaurant in west Knoxville as our favorite spot, as it is without a doubt the most welcoming place in town. Our latest obsession is the vegan shawarma, which comes in a generous portion that my wife and I usually share. We are also huge fans of the falafel wraps and salads they offer. And don't even get me started on their baklava - we always buy extra to bring home and store in the freezer for a special treat.

I recently had my first experience with Mediterranean cuisine at Yassin's Falafel House and it was fantastic. I tried the plant-based shawarma plate, which included plant-based protein, rice, hummus, tahini sauce, pita, and a drink. The hummus was exceptional and the rice and plant-based protein were delicious. I also want to try the plant-based protein sandwich next time. Overall, I highly recommend trying the plant-based shawarma plate at Yassin's Falafel House. I would definitely eat here every day if I could.

Excellent food, efficient service, welcoming vibe. Absolutely would love to come back. French fries were the best.
