Texas Roadhouse - Knoxville

Reserved on line. Still had to wait 45 minutes. Many empty tables available. Three tables empty when we arrived. No one seated in those the whole time we waited. Finally seated then the waitress brought out three rounds of bread because of late kitchen. (We took the whole third round home. Over 2 hrs start to finish. And it was our guest's birthday. Worst TR I've ever been to. Really badly managed. Definitely try other TR's in Knoxville and avoid this one. P. S. steaks were expected TR quality.

Food was great and cooked exactly to order but our waitress made the experience. Even though she was deaf she made communicating very easy and was on top of everything and had a real smile on her face the whole time.Food: 5/5

Stayed next door and wanted something quick to take back to the room. Ordered an appetizer platter and a 'bloomin onion '. Both were salty beyond belief! It 's almost as if someone mistakenly dumped cups of salt into the batter or perhaps everything is just really over salted. The chicken tenders, the rattlesnake bites, the potato skins and the bloomin onion were all uneatably salty.

Food was good when we finally got. We were seated quickly but it took almost an hour to get our food after ordering. The table that was seated after we ordered got their food and finished eating before we ever got our food. The table that was seated within minutes after we were seated (4 people) had their billed comped by management because of the wait. Not once did they offer my table of two an apology or anything. I'll never come back here again.

Our server Jared was great. Very thorough and did a great job taking care of us. We ordered the ribeye boneless steak dinner 16oz. And my husband and I shared it. Best steak I’ve had at a Texas Roadhouse. Only complaint is the kitchen was kind of slow with getting the food out and never received the blooming onion. But later realized that the waiter forgot to put it in. We never got charged for it. Our server was pretty busy.
