El Charro Mexican - Knoxville

We?ve ordered a lot from El Charro delivered via Grubhub. Tonight our driver didn?t pick up all of our order after stating he?d go back by get the rest, he didn?t. El Charro employees (or owner) brought our food to our house! This is the type ofbusiness it is?legitimately valuing the customer even when they didn?t do a thing wrong. I provide 24/7 care for a permanentlybedbound elderly family member, so I can?t just hop in the car go get missing food. This was a HUGE gesture for me. We lovetheir food. It?s always fresh delicious with generous portions. They will continue to be our go-to!

I ordered three crispy tacos, a la carte, refried beans and a small guac. Needless to say, this restaurant is stretching their food as much as they can. Not a lot of meat in the tacos. The beans were runny and a bit thin. Overall the guac wasn't that badbut it was definitely stretched and not just avocado.

We always have great service at El Charro. Tonight, my disabled 81 year old grandmother ordered herself dinner on Uber Eats from El Charro. She waited patiently, nearly an hour after the notification that her food was picked up and on its way, the foodarrived. Cold. It was also half of what the order usually is and didn't have the any meat on it. She was so disappointed. Shecalled the restaurant directly and spoke with a man who got her address and DROVE HER A REPLACEMENT MEAL. This level of customerservice is the reason we love this restaurant. She would have been without dinner because she was scared that the Uber eatsdriver messed with it in some way. I just want to say thank you so much to for helping her tonight. You've gained patrons forlife.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Knoxville! It never disappoints. The food and wait staff are wonderful. Highly recommended! Burrito pancha and fajitas are family favs!

The best Mexican in Knoxville? I don?t see how. Limited menu. Over priced over salty food. When we finally got our drinks we didn?t even get all of them and there were only two. I asked about fries and the lady had an attitude. Pointed to the menu saidsee rice or fries It doesn?t say fries. Doesn?t even know what the menu said. My food was supposed to be 8.99 and got charged9.49. There were ants crawling on the window sill. Definitely never coming back.
